宋永端,教授/博导,IEEE Fellow, 国际欧亚科学院院士,注册职业工程师(美国),美国教师名人录,中国自动化学会常务理事,5号彩票院长。1992年获美国田纳西理工大学电气及计算机工程博士学位。

智能控制、容错控制、自适应协调控制、飞行器导航与控制、可再生能源系统、机器人及智能无人系统、群体智能系统、仿生智能控制系统,协调控制理论及其应用,复杂系统主动安全预警与控制。

主讲中、英文本科,硕士及博士课程20多门,涵盖控制理论及应用,导航与制导,空气动力学,仿生控制系统,风电系统监测与控制,协调系统控制等。

科研情况简介:

在美工作期间,作为美国大学终身教授和美国国家航空研究院Langley杰出教授,获多项美国联邦机构持续资助,包括美国自然科学基金 (NSF),美国国家宇航局(NASA),美国军方办 (ARO),美国能源部(DOE),美国海军科研办(ONR)等,研究领域涵盖控制理论及应用,系统故障诊断,自适应容错控制,无人机系统等,取得系列重要成果。

2009年全职回国工作后,先后主持国家自然科学基金、973计划、863计划等国家级科研项目/课题20余项,取得系列重要理论创新和应用创新成果,解决了困扰行业多年的理论及技术难题,在包括航空航天、高铁、电力系统等领域有广泛应用前景。相关成果发表在IEEE Trans. on Automatic Control, Automatica, IEEE Trans. on Neural Networks and Learning Systems , IEEE Trans. on Cybernetics 等国际控制及人工智能领域顶级期刊上。宋教授还创建了“星际(重庆)智能装备技术研究院”,带领团队研制出系列具有自主知识产权的智能装备,包括:智能迎宾机器人、智能扫雪机器人等,这些机器人在第20届中国国际投资暨全球采购会,中国首届智能博览会上受到广泛关注和高度评价,中央电视台(发现之旅)对此进行了专题报道。他创建了国际电气电子工程师学会IEEE重庆计算智能分会并担任首任主席,同时兼任中国自动化学会常务理事,重庆市智能物联网产业联盟技术委员会第一副主任,重庆市智能机器人联盟副理事长,教育部长江学者评审专家。近五年来指导本科生参加学科竞赛等获国家级奖励1项、省部级奖励2项。2018年,指导学生获得“第12届全球智能控制与自动化大会”最佳学生论文奖1人。培养了一批优秀青年人才,包括中组部青年拔尖人才,中国自动化学会优秀博士,重庆市优秀博士等。2018年获“中国第七届侨界贡献奖”一等奖,2018年获“中国指挥与控制学会科学技术奖”一等奖,2019年获“重庆市自然科学”二等奖。发表重要学术论文200余篇(SCI检索),授权发明专利50余项。
